I used procion dyes in my colourway to colour some scrim and a variety of threads and lace , to be used in stitching into the grids.
These next photos show Handstitching into the grids using the rhythms of the words as inspiration for the stitching.The scrim was used to back the paper,which was not easy to stitch as it kept flaking off.

Very inventive - exciting. I noticed your work lying on the desk during tutorial and I had wondered who it belonged to. Great colours too.
