I have, hopefully , finished with Chapter 8 with this last sampler.It is mounted on a hand dyed fabric and contains my ideas for beads as edging and trapped beads.
I have used a variety of commercial beads ,to include wooden and glass,as well as hand felted beads .I have used wire,plastic,scrim,orange net,fabric strip ,cut silk pod and stuffed viscose to trap beads in different ways.I cut a cd to create my version of shisha.
The photographs show the entire sample as well as close-ups.
