Textile sketchbook.

I have decided to use a tablecloth purchased  from E-bay to start this month's sketchbook work.I bought it intending to cut it up but when it arrived I couldn't.It is all hand stitched and the various pieces are joined.I have no idea of its age but wonder if it might be Irish or have a connection as it has Shamrock  or clover motifs and I think is linen.
Stem and satin stitch have been worked to form the border.There is drawn thread work and it is edged with crocheted cotton lace.
