Dyeing.

I have dyed some fabrics and threads and show the results in the photo.The colours are about right but I realise they need to be darker and richer,like the velvet at the bottom .I know why they turned out pale,I wet the fabrics but forgot to drain away the excess water before syringeing on the dye.The threads were dyed without being wet first.

The following photos relate to the October sketchbook .I have a lovely white African violet sitting on my table so decided to draw from that.

I used a fine line pen.
