Chapter 9....I think


1.
 Familiarising myself with some hand embroidery stitches.They include chevron,herringbone,stem,fly,wheatear,buttonhole,wave,Cretan,French knot,bullion,coral,split and couching .I think that's all.

Next is my formal and informal sampler.I used fly stitch.I really enjoyed doing this.The thread came from Texere dyers delight packs -vegetable.




Next I chose five rubbings to translate into stitch.

I love how you have interpreted the rubbings in stitch. It would be interesting to make more rubbings from the stitches.
