What if....

Not a very long post but I was doing something else in my workroom and had a thought..this was the result:

I had been using the embellisher to do something else when I spotted some organza I had unsuccessfully tried to print on.I thought rather than waste it I would cut it up and embellish strips to itself,then I cut up some lengths of acrylic yarn and attached them.I cut the sample in half, and added some lengths of knitting tape to one half before sandwiching in some water soluble.It was  stitched into  with variegated embroidery thread.When dissolved and dry it resembled reeds.
I think I must now get down to using all these samples and start to plan and execute my final piece.Thanks for the feedback ,it does help.
