Feather.

Remembered that Sian wanted feathers so got some silk paper,a feather rescued from the garden as reference,my machine and threads. This is the result.
I am seeing her this weekend so hope this is what she meant,if not it has given me ideas for cards!
I have added some stitch to my Jae Maries piece.I like the idea of using torn photographs ,but am less
pleased with the gloss. They tend to catch the light too much.I think I might experiment with other ways such as printed on ordinary paper and momigami so that they are softer and more like fabric.
I am going to visit Radstock museum tomorrow. They have an exhibition of textiles from the South West,I hear it is worth a visit. It's on until the end of this month.

The feather looks beautiful, love the colour. I like the other piece too, there are so many art papers to print on now you should find one that's perfect for your purpose.
Have a good exhibition visit.

Thankyou for your lovely comment on my blog Jenn. Once I got over the panic of drawing with pen I began to enjoy and surprise myself.
